Samsung Galaxy S24 Price in Pakistan Gets Second One UI 9 Beta with New AI Features
Samsung has started rolling out the second One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S24 series, bringing several newer features to its 2024 flagship phones. The update arrives less than two weeks after the first beta and includes features previously introduced on newer Galaxy devices.
New AI Features Arrive on Galaxy S24
The second beta adds four notable features to the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra:
- Now Nudge can provide suggestions based on what is currently shown on the screen.
- My FanCam can track a particular person in a video and create a closer crop around them.
- Call Brief brings relevant information to the call screen during conversations.
- Custom Now Brief cards allow users to create personalized cards based on the information they want to see.
My FanCam originally appeared among the newer Galaxy Z8 foldable features, while the other AI additions are also associated with Samsung's latest devices. Their arrival on the Galaxy S24 gives older flagship users access to some of Samsung's newer software features without upgrading to a newer phone.
One UI 9 Beta Also Brings Fixes
Along with the new features, the update addresses several issues reported in the previous beta. Samsung has fixed Bixby Vision translation errors, temporary crashes in the Contacts app and white-balance problems related to Color Optimization.
Right now this second beta's rolling out in select markets, with India confirmed as one of them. Samsung hasn't announced a stable One UI 9 release date for the S24 series yet.
If You're Running Beta, Maybe Hold Off
This is still beta software, so if your Galaxy S24 is your main everyday phone, it's probably worth waiting for the stable release before jumping in. Beta builds can still carry bugs and stability issues even a few versions in.
Samsung keeps pushing newer AI and camera features down to the S24 too, which says something, the company's latest software experience isn't being locked entirely behind its newest hardware.
